With winter temperatures still lingering, try this Paleo chili recipe a go. Perfect for your upcoming Super Bowl party, Church chili cook-off, or a bowl of something hot on a cold day. Quick and easy! Let us know what you think.

  • 2 pounds ground wild game

  • 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed

  • 1 pound bacon

  • 2 (28 oz) cans diced tomatoes with juice

  • 2 (6 oz) can tomato paste

  • 1 large yellow onion, chopped

  • 1 red bell pepper (optional)

  • 2 cups beef stock, homemade or compliant brand, use bone broth for an even richer taste

All the spices are to taste but here is a starting point

  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic

  • 1½ tablespoons dried oregano

  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin

  • 1 tablespoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  1. Cook the bacon, burger, and sausage on medium heat until cooked through.

  2. Once all the meat has been cook add your bone broth or stock, 2 28oz cans of tomatoes (I use the crushed tomatoes because I don’t dig the big chunks), 2 6oz cans of tomato paste, and whatever spices you like.

3. Let that whole concoction simmer on low heat for about 2 hours and stir every 20-30 minutes.

4. Eat the chili
